Join our team as a Receiving Clerk in Seattle, Washington, and play a vital role in our supply chain logistics. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely receiving of all incoming shipments, ensuring that all goods are accounted for and stored appropriately. You will be the first point of contact for incoming merchandise, verifying quantities, checking for damages, and processing necessary documentation. A meticulous approach and strong organizational skills are paramount for success in this role. We are dedicated to maintaining a high standard of operational efficiency and safety within our warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Verify product counts against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
- Enter receiving data into the warehouse management system (WMS) accurately and promptly.
- Tag and label incoming goods according to established procedures.
- Stage received materials for put-away or further processing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to management.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety policies and wear appropriate PPE.
- Support inventory control initiatives and assist with cycle counts as directed.
Requirements:
The role requires the ability to perform manual tasks, including Lifting of items up to 40 pounds. Experience with receiving processes and basic computer skills are preferred. A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to Safety are essential. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a busy logistics environment.
