We are seeking reliable Warehouse Workers to join our dynamic team in Washington, D.C.! This role is crucial for the seamless operation of our logistics and distribution hub. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in a variety of essential tasks including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and organizing and retrieving stock within the warehouse. Your dedication to accuracy and efficiency will directly impact our ability to serve our clients effectively. We maintain a rigorous commitment to safety, and all employees are required to utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and undergo comprehensive safety training. This position requires individuals who are physically capable of performing duties that involve regular lifting, standing, and moving throughout the facility. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Sort, label, and stock items in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items to fulfill customer orders using order forms or scanners.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Load outgoing shipments onto transport vehicles.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and storage areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Strictly adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
