Join our thriving logistics operation in Orlando, Florida, as a Material Handler! We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to assist in the movement, storage, and retrieval of materials within our warehouse. The Material Handler plays a vital role in ensuring that products are handled efficiently and safely, supporting both inbound and outbound operations. You will be responsible for operating various material handling equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and keeping the warehouse organized. This position requires physical stamina and a strong commitment to safety . Experience with forklifts or other powered industrial trucks is a plus, but not always required for all material handler roles. We provide comprehensive training on equipment operation and safe work practices, including the mandatory use of PPE . This role is fundamental to our entire logistics chain. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent teamwork and a proactive approach to their responsibilities, including regular lifting of goods. Responsibilities:
- Move materials from receiving to storage areas, and from storage to shipping docks.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and potentially forklifts (with proper certification).
- Load and unload trucks as directed.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately.
- Ensure proper use of PPE at all times.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 60 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics procedures.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of workplace safety .
- Willingness to wear required PPE .
