Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across all warehouse locations.
  • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend adjustments.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures to minimize loss and waste.
  • Operate warehouse equipment as needed to access and verify inventory.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory to optimize space and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Utilize inventory management software and systems effectively.
  • Identify and report damaged or obsolete inventory.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, including the use of appropriate PPE, and promote a culture of safety in the warehouse.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of improved inventory control strategies within the logistics framework.
  • The ability to perform tasks involving lifting of inventory items is sometimes necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., WMS, ERP).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret inventory reports and data.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus.
  • Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Must be able to perform tasks that may require occasional lifting.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
