Job Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Coordinator in our Richmond, Virginia location. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily warehouse activities, managing inventory, ensuring operational efficiency, and supervising warehouse personnel. You will play a key part in optimizing our logistics operations and maintaining a safe, productive work environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems and supply chain best practices. Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
  • Develop and implement efficient warehouse procedures and workflows to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all company Safety policies, OSHA regulations, and the proper use of PPE.
  • Train and mentor warehouse staff, providing guidance and performance feedback.
  • Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment and ensure a safe operating condition.
  • Coordinate with transportation and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Analyze warehouse performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage tasks involving significant Lifting and the movement of goods, ensuring appropriate handling techniques are utilized.
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal departments and external vendors.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or coordination.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics management.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management software (WMS) and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of Safety regulations and experience implementing Safety programs.
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including those involving significant Lifting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
