Join our fast-paced fulfillment center in Indianapolis, Indiana as a Fulfillment Associate! This role is essential for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that every item is accounted for and shipped according to specifications. This position demands efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. As part of our logistics team, you'll contribute to the efficient flow of goods from our warehouse to our customers' doorsteps. You will work in a dynamic environment that requires attention to detail and the ability to meet performance targets. Your role is vital in maintaining our reputation for reliable and prompt delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Pack items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before sealing and labeling packages.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed, such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Assist with shipping and receiving as directed.
- Contribute to overall team goals and efficiency.
- Perform tasks involving Lifting of packages up to 40 lbs.
- Participate in ongoing training to improve skills and knowledge of logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or fulfillment experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order pick lists.
- Basic math skills for order verification.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to follow instructions and Safety protocols.
- Must be capable of regular Lifting.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is beneficial.
