Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Provo, Utah. This role is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for implementing and managing inventory control procedures, conducting regular audits, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring that our warehouse management system reflects the physical stock accurately. A strong focus on detail, analytical skills, and a commitment to safety are essential. This is a key position within our logistics and supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of inventory control within the warehouse.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures and policies.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of all inventory items, adhering to safety standards.
  • Work closely with receiving, shipping, and operational teams to reconcile inventory.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Train warehouse staff on inventory control best practices and the use of PPE.
  • Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including proper lifting.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and logistics operations.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other inventory software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and lead initiatives.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting up to 30 pounds and moving throughout the warehouse.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
