Join our team as a Distribution Center Associate in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma! This role is integral to the efficient operation of our distribution network. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. We are committed to providing a safe and productive environment, and we expect all associates to uphold our high standards for safety, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position offers a great opportunity to be part of a growing logistics operation.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming goods, verifying quantities against purchase orders.
- Sort, organize, and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Prepare orders for shipment, applying appropriate labels and documentation.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, including all work areas.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
- Participate in ongoing safety training and promote a safety-conscious culture.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding role.
- Proficiency in using warehouse equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform lifting tasks up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes within logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
