(S2S) is looking for a Senior Environmental Project Manager to join our Environmental Due Diligence group. This full-time, permanent role offers significant opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Position Requirements

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Due Diligence team and act as a Technical Advisor on projects across Canada. You will manage the full life cycle of environmental due diligence and contaminated site projects, from proposal through to delivery, and provide senior oversight on technical outputs. Your responsibilities will include managing client relationships, overseeing project budgets and schedules, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to business growth.

You will be responsible for a range of duties, including:

Leading and managing a variety of environmental projects including Phase One and Two Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), excess soil management, and remediation programs

Providing senior review and technical oversight of project deliverables

Preparing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets

Coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams and delegating tasks effectively

Tracking project schedules, budgets, and financial performance

Acting as a key liaison with clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term relationship building

Mentoring junior and intermediate staff

Participating in peer reviews and serving as a technical advisor for key clients

Supporting Record of Site Condition (RSC) filings and the Excess Soil Registry

Participating in fieldwork and property condition assessments (where desired)

Promoting a culture of Health and Safety throughout the organization

Qualifications

Minimum of a university degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related discipline (e.g., B.A.Sc., B.Sc., B.Eng., M.Sc.)

Minimum 10 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry

Experience managing environmental due diligence projects, including ESA Phases I, II, and III, soil and groundwater sampling, and remediation

Experience with RSC projects and excess soil regulations is considered a strong asset

Strong project management, team leadership, and client communication skills

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet tight deadlines

Professional designation or eligibility (e.g., P.Eng., P.Geo.)

Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required for occasional site travel

Familiarity with Baseline Property Condition Assessments (BPCAs) is an asset
