Job OverviewWe’re looking for an ambitious designer with traditional design and layout skills to support the needs of the company. The ideal candidate will understand how to take direction from written or spoken briefs and convert them into visually arresting graphics that can be used across a variety of digital and social channels, print advertising, invitations, presentation decks, and more.
What You’ll DoYou will act as both curator and creator of visually interesting digital and social content for a world‑class company, representing the biggest names from across the globe.
We work in a fast‑paced environment, so the ideal candidate will thrive in a demanding atmosphere and work brilliantly both as part of a team and independently.
This role will be based in the Los Angeles/Brooklyn area, with an expectation of three days a week of in‑office work, and additional in‑person coverage of events as needed.
- Execute visually appealing and compelling design requests to support the company’s needs, primarily static assets for social media channels on Instagram, X, and LinkedIn, ensuring platform‑optimized assets.
- Specific skills desired include:
- Digital and print design
- Presentation and digital marketing materials
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design.
- Manage your time efficiently, clearly communicating with your manager to keep everyone on the same page at all touch points of the project.
- Work simultaneously on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to create compelling digital and social content from start to finish.
- 4+ years of experience developing the types of digital creative assets described above.
- Is a conceptual visual storyteller.
- Passionate about all forms of design and visual art.
- Fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Has knowledge in working with AI tools.
- Efficiently combine creativity, graphic design, functionality, and technology to create impactful, eye‑catching visual communications.
- Has a strong foundation in typography and graphic design fundamentals.
- Immersive knowledge of the latest cultural, industry, and design trends.
- Has the ability to work closely with the production team in pre‑production, content creation, preparation, and roll‑out of final art files.
- Present work internally, substantiate creative decisions, and take feedback constructively.
- Has strong knowledge of leading social platforms (Instagram, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok) and the features each platform offers to produce engaging work.
- Commitment to excellence — working non‑standard, but flexible, hours when necessary to support workflow demands and live events (nights and weekends), anticipating issues.
- Ability to think creatively and drive innovation.
- Works independently and manages time efficiently in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment.
- Ability to maneuver through tight turnarounds through sound multi‑tasking and prioritization skills.
- Know how to keep things fresh while maintaining consistency with brand guidelines.
Base salary range: $55‑70k CAD, plus bonus potential if applicable for the role.
