Reports to: VP of Sales

Responsibilities
  • Advocate and build relationships with clients based on trust and respect to improve the business-to-business experience.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to facilitate and ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions to fulfill customer needs and requests.
  • Maintain and organize accurate records pertaining to inventory and account notes so clear progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives can be communicated to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management team to onboard and integrate new clients while developing existing client relationships.
  • Identify customer needs and match their solution with company products/services.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of company products and services.
  • Resolve complaints and prevent additional issues by improving processes.
  • Identify and develop new customers and commercial opportunities to achieve revenue goals across North America in an ethical and profitable manner while supporting national accounts as required.
  • Evaluate possible customers and monitor them until they become prospect customers for new beverages co-packing sales and maintain a prospect-customer database with required data to evaluate potential new projects from customers.
  • Follow-up on company-supplied leads in a timely manner.
  • Participate in preparation of proposals and quotes for prospects within the company’s standard guidelines & pricing strategy.
  • Manage reporting for monitoring sales activities and decision-making processes.
  • Participate in company trade shows and attend training and meetings as required by leadership to keep current trends from market and technical standpoints.
  • Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.
  • Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which include, but are not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Profile
  • University degree or college diploma in Business Admin., Marketing, or Sales is required.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG).
  • Strong computer literacy, especially with all Microsoft Office solutions.
  • Agility to travel visiting prospective clients, current customers, vendors, etc. a minimum of 25% of the time (mostly domestic, some international).
  • Comfortable in customer-facing roles with strong interpersonal skills, high-level written and verbal communication abilities and a collaborative approach.
  • Demonstrates strong punctuality and reliability in all aspects of work.
  • Good problem-solving skills and independent judgement.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Note: Successful candidates will be required to provide photo ID, banking details, a valid SIN number, and (if applicable) a valid work permit.
