This Program Manager II role is integral to TELUS and Koodo Mobility Brand and Marketing Strategy team, focusing on delivering mid to long‑term strategies for mobility brands.
Team OverviewThe Mobility Postpaid Brand Strategy team develops and delivers mid to long‑term strategies for TELUS and Koodo Mobility brands and products, optimizing value propositions across rate plans, device programs, multi‑user constructs, rewards, and service experiences. Our goal is to drive brand differentiation, improve Mobility EBITDA and Household Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) by enhancing product journeys and ensuring optimal product introductions.
What You’ll Do- Program & Project Governance:
- Develop, implement, and maintain standardized project and program management templates for tracking activities, milestones, key dependencies, and progress against established timelines.
- Create and manage a centralized repository for all project documentation and status reports.
- Meeting Management & Communications:
- Proactively plan, schedule, and lead all regular project meetings, including internal team sync‑ups, cross‑functional working sessions, and leadership status updates.
- Develop and distribute clear, concise meeting agendas in advance.
- Coordinate and consolidate updates from team peers and cross‑functional partners to inform status reports.
- Lead the creation of high‑quality presentation material for status reviews and executive briefings.
- Driving Execution:
- Maintain an “ownership” mindset over the project/program management frameworks and processes used by the team.
- Act as the primary driver for follow‑ups and coordination, ensuring accountability and timely completion of action items.
- Proactively identify potential risks or roadblocks and work with team members and leadership to resolve them.
- Ensure alignment between the Brand and Marketing Strategy team and other functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- 3+ years of experience in project management, program management, or a similar coordination/operational role, preferably within a fast‑paced, evolving environment like marketing, technology, or telecommunications.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and tailor messaging for different audiences.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Figma, Monday.com) and proficiency in Google Workspace (Slides, Sheets, Docs, Forms).
- A track record of being proactive in seeking out necessary information, coordinating updates, and pushing projects forward without constant direction.
- Experience working within the Mobility, Telecommunications, or Brand/Marketing sectors.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or other recognized project/program management certifications.
- Experience in developing or refining new operational processes and templates for a team or department.
- Proven ability to successfully navigate and coordinate with large, diverse cross‑functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Product, Technology, Legal).
