HDR is seeking an experienced Project Development Project Manager to join our Michigan-based Power Generation team. The role involves supporting power and energy projects across various sectors, maintaining client relationships, developing strategies, and leading multi-discipline project teams to successful completion.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Achieving project schedule, quality, and profitability goals.
  • Leading proposal development, reviewing contracts, and evaluating risks.
  • Providing daily leadership and coordination within project teams and with clients.
  • Monitoring project budgets and schedules, and developing recovery plans as needed.
  • Overseeing scope changes and providing training to staff.
  • Performing design or consulting work within engineering expertise.
  • Reporting project progress to internal teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree and PMP certification.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and demonstrate business development skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, and related software.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 7+ years related experience with at least 2 years in project management.
  • Professional engineering license (PE or P.Eng).
  • Experience with MS Office and MS Project.
  • Leadership skills and commitment to our employee-owned culture.
