Contract Opportunity – 6 months initial contract
Markham, ON – 4 days per week in office requirement

Do you enjoy untangling complex problems, connecting dots across teams, and shipping solutions that make life simpler for customers and colleagues? In this role, you’ll guide a product area from idea to impact—aligning strategy with delivery, measuring outcomes, and fostering tight collaboration across engineering, operations, and business stakeholders.
You’ll be instrumental in our digital transformation: partnering with developers, product peers, and business leaders to make our platforms faster, smarter, and more intuitive.
What You’ll Do- Facilitate discovery & alignment: Lead engaging workshops and working sessions to uncover needs, pain points & opportunities across business and technical teams.
- Turn insight into action: Translate findings into clear requirements—personas, user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria that are easy for teams to build against.
- Map how work flows: Create concise journey maps, process diagrams, and data flow documentation that connect strategy to execution.
- Use data to validate decisions: Write SQL queries and analyze datasets to inform solution design, test hypotheses, and verify results post‑launch.
- Design scalable solutions: Define customer‑ and employee‑centric experiences that are robust, maintainable, and ready to grow.
- Shape the roadmap: Prioritize the backlog, run sprint planning, and support Agile ceremonies to keep momentum and clarity.
- Build quality in: Partner with QA to define test strategies, cases, and validation plans—ensuring we ship the right thing and it works as intended.
- Fix issues for good: Lead root‑cause analysis for production incidents and drive durable corrective actions.
- Orchestrate delivery: Collaborate with Delivery Managers and Scrum Masters to manage dependencies, remove blockers, and keep work aligned to business goals.
- Be the connective tissue: Build trusted relationships across engineering, product, operations, customer service, and vendor partners.
- Translate fluently: Bridge conversations between business and technical stakeholders, ensuring shared understanding and clear decisions.
- Guide with evidence: Use metrics, research, and data to focus discussions on outcomes, not opinions.
- Experience: 5+ years in roles such as Product Manager, Technical Product Owner, Product Operations Lead, or Senior Business Systems Analyst.
- Program coordination: Proven ability to manage initiatives spanning multiple teams or business units.
- Product craft: Strength in requirements elicitation, documentation, process design, and Agile delivery practices.
- Tools: Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, and building performance dashboards.
- Data skills: Working knowledge of SQL for analysis, troubleshooting, and validation.
- Communication: Clear, concise storytelling—comfortable translating between business needs and technical realities.
- Mindset: Curious, adaptable, and motivated to simplify complex systems into human‑centered solutions.
- Domain exposure (nice to have): Customer engagement platforms, digital workflows, or field service solutions.
- Credentials (nice to have): PMP or Agile certifications are helpful; consistent execution matters most.
- Ways of working: Track record applying Lean and Agile practices, mapping end‑to‑end processes, and leading cross‑functional teams.
