Manager, Data Analytics & Automation

Join KPMG Canada as a Manager in our Data, Analytics and Automation practice. You’ll work alongside diverse problem solvers to turn insight into opportunity for clients and communities worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating and presenting data strategies, roadmaps and data operating models.
  • Leading the assessment and remediation of clients’ data quality challenges.
  • Implementing data strategy and data management capabilities with clients.
  • Leading the deployment and adoption of modern data platforms, including Databricks and Snowflake.
  • Securing trusted analytics through transparent, well‑governed processes, platforms and data lakes.
  • Developing and applying technical and industry knowledge to resolve complex client challenges.
  • Consulting on leading‑practice solutions.
  • Planning and executing day‑to‑day activities of advisory engagements across data strategy, roadmap development, business process analysis, current state assessment, future state design, and data/business case analysis.
  • Leading business development by presenting thought leadership, developing winning proposals, and negotiating contracts with clients.
Qualifications
  • A completed MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Data Science.
  • 5+ years of experience in a consulting environment or in implementing data management solutions.
  • Industry‑recognized designations or certifications preferred (CDMP or DCAM).
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present strategic solutions to client stakeholders at director and operational levels.
  • Experience in data quality analysis, transformation, mapping and cleansing.
  • Team player who collaborates on the growth of Data Management within KPMG.
  • Knowledge of governance and data management standards such as DAMA‑DMBOK, CMMI and DCAM.
  • Experience optimizing and deploying cloud‑based data management platforms (e.g., Databricks, Informatica, Collibra, Snowflake).
  • Ability to travel locally and internationally as required.
