Hotel Night Auditor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team at our hotel. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during overnight shifts. This position requires a strong focus on guest services, accuracy in financial reporting, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a proven attendance record and be committed to providing exceptional hospitality.

Duties

• Perform nightly audits of all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Manage the front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs, while providing outstanding customer service to guests.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
• Operate phone systems and handle incoming calls with professionalism.
• Prepare daily reports summarizing hotel operations, occupancy rates, and revenue.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences during overnight hours.
• Wash, dry, fold, and store hotel linens.
• Attend to a small Beer & Wine Bar.
• Prepare breakfast for the hotel guests.

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel management is preferred.
• Strong background in guest services with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Familiarity with front desk operations and phone systems is essential.
• Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply to enhance communication with diverse guests.
• A passion for the hospitality industry, particularly in resort settings, is a plus.
