About The Role
Hello Patient is seeking a Solutions Architect to partner closely with our healthcare customers and lead technical delivery across implementation, onboarding, and ongoing support. You will work directly with customers to understand their workflows, diagnose complex technical issues, and deliver scalable solutions that improve both customer outcomes and our internal support capabilities.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing technical role. While you will not be expected to write production application code, you should be comfortable using SQL for investigation and validation, and navigating APIs, logs, configurations, and integration patterns to drive resolution and successful deployments.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technical engagements for healthcare customers across onboarding, implementation, go-live, ongoing support, and expansion.
- Support sales with technical discovery and implementation scoping to ensure smooth handoffs and successful outcomes.
- Serve as a technical escalation point for complex issues, leading troubleshooting efforts and coordinating with internal teams to drive timely, durable resolution.
- Partner with customers to translate real-world workflows into clear implementation plans, best practices, and repeatable solution designs.
- Use SQL to investigate data issues, validate system behavior, and support reporting and analysis as needed.
- Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, and reference materials to enable customer self-service and reduce repeated escalations.
- Identify recurring issues and patterns, and recommend process, product, and tooling improvements to prevent future problems.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Support, Product, and Engineering to advocate for customer needs and influence prioritization.
- Contribute to internal enablement by sharing learnings, standardizing solutions, and improving team readiness for healthcare-specific requirements.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role; software engineering background is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting skills across APIs, integrations, data flows, and system configuration, with a track record of driving issues to root cause and resolution.
- Proficiency with SQL for investigation and validation (e.g., joins, aggregations, filtering).
- High ownership and sound judgment, with the ability to manage multiple customer engagements in a fast-paced environment.
- Nice to have: experience working with healthcare customers or healthcare-adjacent workflows

Compensation
Compensation includes a base salary of $140K–$200K and generous equity in a fast-growing healthtech startup.
