Overview
Reporting to the Senior Director of Content and Planning, this role sits at the heart of Darktrace's Corporate Affairs team, supporting the creation and delivery of compelling corporate and thought leadership content and helping to drive smooth team operations. The Communications Associate will help tell Darktrace's story to global audiences, create content that showcases our technology and people for use on internal and external channels, and contribute to the planning, analytics, and insights that shape our communications strategy.

This is an ideal opportunity for a curious, creative, and highly organized communicator with 1–3 years of experience who is excited about technology, cybersecurity, and the impact of AI.

The role is based in Darktrace's New York City or London office, with a hybrid working model in place (a minimum of 2-3 days each week in the office). Some travel to national and international locations may be required.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Project Management

  • Create and maintain corporate content, including the Darktrace newsroom and corporate web pages, ensuring information is current and aligned with key narratives. Produce storytelling assets (in partnership with internal and external creative teams) such as overview decks, photo packages, B-roll, and other multimedia content for use across channels.
  • Support the global thought leadership program by developing timely, compelling content tied to core themes and threat research. Adapt materials for diverse audiences and channels, including C-suite leaders, media, policymakers, investors, and other influencers.
  • Distribute corporate and thought leadership content effectively, ensuring assets reach the right channels and teams at the right moments to support global business priorities.
  • Partner with the employee engagement team to tailor content for internal audiences and develop bespoke assets that support priority campaigns and the company intranet, The POD.
  • Collaborate with external and executive communications and public affairs teams to create social-first thought leadership content for Darktrace and its executives, including developing creative briefs and copy, coordinating freelance creators, and managing review and approval workflows.
  • Manage Darktrace's speaker bureau and awards programs, partnering with the PR agency and cross-functional teams to oversee submissions, develop speaking abstracts, support presentation material creation, and maintenance/organization of an abstract
