Title: Customer Service Advocate

Location: REMOTE - HI

Duration: Temp to Hire

Start: ASAP

Shift: M-F / 8 AM - 5 PM HST

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year Call Center Experience / Phone Customer Service Experience. Healthcare/Medical/Managed Care experience preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Must have an on-hand copy of HSD/GED/Transcript.
  • Reliable home internet connection (hard-wired connection) with a dedicated workspace is required.
  • Attendance & Reliability are mandatory; no time off is allowed for the entire training period

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams)
  • Experience using multiple systems and programs simultaneously.
  • Strong Data Entry - Typing Speed 40 WPM
  • Strong Customer Service - Exceptional phone skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Multitasking, Critical Thinking, Time Management, Team Player, Organizational, and have an exceptional work ethic

Responsibilities:

  • Provides customer service in a fast-paced contact center environment over the phone, via live chats, and via email
  • Receives and responds to routine member and provider inquiries, requests, and concerns in an accurate and timely manner
  • Mitigates and prevents complaints from being escalated to be resolved in the initial contact.
  • Serves as the front-line resolution advocate on various member and provider inquiries, requests, or concerns
  • Resolves basic problems by communicating the requested information regarding the assessment of the member or provider needs, understanding the cause, and determining if problems need to be routed to other departments for further resolution
  • Maintains performance and quality standards based on established contact center metrics
  • Documents all member or provider information and communications for quality and performance tracking through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications
  • Remains up-to-date and adheres to quality standards, regulations, and all other policies to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $19.00 per hour
