YULLR | Mountain Sports Technology
YULLR is building the next generation of AI-powered video and data infrastructure for snow sports. Our platform combines on-mountain edge computing, real-time video processing, and cloud delivery to automatically capture, analyze, and deliver skier and rider experiences to athletes, families, teams, and resorts.
We are seeking a
contract PHP Full-Stack Developer
who can step in immediately, work independently, and help us deliver features quickly as we scale across mountains.
What You'll Do
- Work hands-on in YULLR's existing PHP and JavaScript codebase to ship production features quickly
- Build and extend backend services, APIs, and data workflows supporting video, events, and user experiences
- Collaborate with product, AI, and infrastructure teams to turn real-world requirements into shipped functionality
- Optimize performance across database queries, server-side logic, and frontend interactions
- Integrate with third-party services including authentication, payments, and resort systems
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in live production environments
Technical Environment
- Backend:
PHP (LAMP), Apache, MySQL (AWS RDS) - Frontend:
JavaScript, jQuery, DataTables, server-rendered PHP views - Cloud & Infrastructure:
AWS (EC2, S3, CloudFront), Cloudflare - Media & Edge:
FFmpeg, Ubuntu Linux, GPU-accelerated edge servers - Integrations:
Firebase Authentication, Stripe, resort POS and timing systems - Version Control:

What We're Looking For
- Strong experience as a
PHP Full-Stack Developer
in production systems - Solid JavaScript skills and comfort working across backend and frontend code
- Ability to work independently within an existing framework and codebase
- Proven ability to deliver features quickly with minimal hand-holding
- Experience with APIs, relational databases, and performance optimization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to Have
- Experience with FFmpeg, video workflows, or large media files
- Familiarity with AWS infrastructure and Linux environments
- Background in real-time or event-driven systems
- Deep understanding of snow sports, ski racing, or resort operations
(strong plus)
