Production Supervisor

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Laundry Production Supervisor to oversee daily laundry plant operations and ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality processing of textiles. This role is responsible for supervising production staff, coordinating workflow across wash, dry, finish, and pack areas, and maintaining operational standards for safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in an industrial laundry or similar production environment and strong leadership skills to drive performance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities within the industrial laundry facility, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and hygiene standards
• Coordinate workflow across washing, drying, finishing, folding, and packing operations to meet production schedules and volume targets
• Lead, train, schedule, and motivate laundry production staff to maintain efficiency and quality output
• Operate and oversee the safe use of industrial laundry equipment including washers, dryers, ironers, folders, and conveyors
• Monitor chemical usage, linen handling procedures, and equipment performance to ensure consistent quality and fabric care
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance or repairs to minimize downtime
• Track linen inventory, carts, and supplies, ensuring proper flow between production and warehouse areas
• Enforce safety procedures, conduct safety meetings and audits, and promote a strong culture of workplace safety
• Identify process inefficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives within laundry operations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in an industrial or commercial laundry environment is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of industrial laundry equipment, textile processing, and production workflows
• Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced, high-volume production setting
• Strong understanding of workplace safety standards, chemical handling, and equipment operation
• Experience with material handling equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts (certification preferred)
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
