Hotel Night Auditor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Night Auditor to join our team in Williamsport, pa. The Night Auditor plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, providing exceptional guest services during overnight hours, and maintaining smooth hotel operations. This position requires strong hospitality management skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to handle guest inquiries with professionalism. The ideal candidate will be bilingual or multilingual, with experience in hotel management and guest relations, and possess excellent phone etiquette and familiarity with multi-line phone systems. This role is essential for delivering a seamless guest experience during nighttime hours and supporting the overall success of our resort or hotel.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions, including room charges, payments, and adjustments to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare detailed reports for management review and reconcile accounts to maintain financial integrity.
• Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and assisting with late check-ins or special requests.
• Manage front desk operations during overnight shifts, including check-ins, check-outs, and handling guest complaints with professionalism.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and uphold hotel policies and procedures.
• Handle multi-line phone systems efficiently, providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
• Ensure the safety and security of guests by monitoring premises during night hours.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any issues affecting guest comfort or safety.

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of night audit procedures within a resort or hotel setting is highly desirable.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus to assist diverse guests effectively.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest relations professionally.
• Familiarity with hotel management software and multi-line phone systems is advantageous.
• Experience in handling guest inquiries via phone or in person with excellent phone etiquette is preferred.
