As a Buyer, you will play a critical role in supporting Valcom's manufacturing operations by sourcing, purchasing, and managing components and materials. You'll maintain strong supplier relationships, ensure timely and cost-effective procurement, and collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to forecast demand and manage inventory. This role requires strong organizational skills, negotiation abilities, and a proactive approach to addressing supply chain challenges.

As a member of our procurement team, you will:

  • Source and purchase components, materials, and services to meet production requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and pricing align with company standards.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Engineering and Production to forecast demand, manage inventory, and prevent supply disruptions
  • Track market trends and pricing to anticipate risks and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, negotiate terms, and monitor delivery schedules.
  • Analyze procurement data to streamline processes and reduce lead times.
