We are seeking an energetic and motivated Shift Leader to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional food service experiences. As a key leader on the floor, you will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure that every guest receives top-notch hospitality in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise team members during your shift, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy.
- Control inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and assist with food production and waste reduction initiatives.
- Train new staff members on food service procedures, safety protocols, and customer engagement techniques.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold cleanliness standards across the kitchen and dining areas.
- Support restaurant management with shift planning, budgeting, and operational problem-solving to optimize performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a focus on food preparation and customer service.
- Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience within the food industry or hospitality sector.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, kitchen management, and food production processes.
- Experience with inventory control, food handling procedures, and managing food quality in casual dining or banquet settings.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and develop staff members effectively.
