The World We Envision
A world where cats live longer than some mortgages — healthy, happy, and thriving well into their 20s.
A world where medicine is thoughtful, personalized, stress-free, and never dictated by a corporate checklist.
Your Mission & Impact
Join a feline-only team that blends science, skill, compassion, humor, and a whole lot of patience.
Some days will be smooth. Some chaotic. Some will involve a tortie launching herself into orbit.
You handle it with skill, presence, and a sense of humor.
You'll deliver high-quality, stress-free feline medical support that keeps our patients healthier and our cat parents calm, informed, and confident.
Who We Are
We're a privately owned, feline-exclusive general practice — not corporate, not franchised, and not driven by quotas. Just a close-knit team that believes medicine works best when it's personal.
We practice:
- Hands-on, relationship-based medicine
- A blend of traditional + naturopathic care
- Teamwork without ego
- Detailed, individualized care
- Kindness, humor, and mutual support
Real Talk
Most of our team is women — which means yes, we communicate, we care deeply, and sometimes we have feelings. But we support each other, resolve things respectfully, and come back stronger.
We don't expect perfection — just honesty, kindness, accountability, and the willingness to move forward together.
If you're reading this and thinking, "This is MY kind of place", keep going.
If not… you probably have a dog (we won't judge… much).
The Role: Veterinary Assistant Technician (Mid-Level Skills Required)
This is not an entry-level position.
You must come in with real, hands-on medical experience and confidence in essential technical skills.
You must already be able to:
- Draw blood independently
- Perform digital X-rays
- Run in-house bloodwork + urinalysis
- Restrain spicy cats safely
- Monitor anesthesia with support
- Assist with surgeries + dentals
- Handle basic lab work + sample processing
Cross-Training (Super Important)
After training, you'll rotate through:
- Phones
- Scheduling
- Invoicing
- Supporting reception
If you only want "back" or only want "front," this is not the role for you.
Daily Responsibilities
- Medical support + diagnostics
- Restraint + patient handling
- Stocking supplies, room prep, and cleanliness
- Kennel care
- Laundry + dishes
- Team support wherever it's needed
The glamor is in the impact — not avoiding the basics.

A perfect fit if:
- You enjoy variety

- You like learning skills that make you invaluable
- You care about your coworkers as much as the cats
- You appreciate honesty, humor, and teamwork

Why Join Us?
- Private Practice Freedom – We're independently owned, so decisions are made by people who actually work here—not a corporate office three states away.
- Smart, Not Soulless Technology – We use modern diagnostic tools like digital X-rays and in-house analyzers to enhance care, not replace the human touch.
- Health & Dental Benefits – Because you deserve top-notch care, too.
- Pet Care Discounts – Your cat will thank you (or, you know, ignore you in appreciation).
- PTO & Holiday Pay – Because burnout is real, and we want you to have a life.
- A Team That Gets It – Some days are hard. Some clients are difficult. Some cats will make you question your career choices. But at the end of the day, we have each other's backs.
- A Clinic That Actually Cares – About you, about our patients, and about making veterinary medicine better.
