Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Roofing Sales Representative to join our dynamic team In this role, you will be the driving force behind expanding our customer base through proactive business development, outside sales, and territory management. You will leverage your expertise in B2B sales, technical product demos, and negotiation to secure new roofing projects and foster long-term client relationships. Duties
- Identify and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and strategic marketing efforts to expand territory sales
- Conduct detailed product demonstrations to educate clients on roofing options, materials, and installation processes
- Manage existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service, upselling additional services, and ensuring client satisfaction
- Develop and execute territory management plans to maximize coverage and sales opportunities within assigned regions
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and project timelines with clients to close deals effectively
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with management on business development strategies, marketing initiatives, and sales campaigns to boost brand presence and revenue
- Maintain thorough knowledge of roofing products, industry trends, and competitive landscape to provide expert advice during sales consultations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales within the construction or roofing industry preferred
- Strong management skills with the ability to handle territory management and lead generation activities independently
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills to build trust and close deals effectively
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for managing sales pipelines and analyzing performance metrics
- Ability to perform product demos confidently while explaining technical details clearly to diverse audiences
