Teacher Assistant

VIP Childhood Development Center is looking for an Assistant Teacher for our Preschool classroom.

PART TIME OR FULL TIME AVAILABLE

Responsibilities:

Preschool teacher teaching children ages 3-4 years old.

· Always ensure supervision of toddlers

· Plan and execute age-appropriate activities for them to meet necessary developmental milestones

· Plan, create, and execute lesson plans following creative curriculum along side head teacher

· Complete necessary trainings on creative curriculum and state guidelines

· Communicate effectively with the director and other staff members

· Communicate effectively and respectfully with parents and families

· Regularly communicate with families on children's progress

· Maintain a safe and clean learning environment

· Diaper changes and potty training

Qualifications:

· Must meet all requirements stipulated by the state for this position

· 1+ years of childcare experience, specifically with children under the age of 5.

· Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality

· Highly professional and dependable

· Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress

· Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment

· Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations

(Spanish Speaking Preferred)

Opening shift

7:00am-12:00pm or 7:00am-4:00pm

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
