is a national EPC and development firm delivering complex commercial and industrial solar and BESS projects. We are seeking a
technical, construction-savvy Assistant Project Manager
to support engineering, procurement, and construction activities across multi-state solar portfolios. This role is ideal for someone with strong electrical/construction experience who is ready for more ownership but not yet a full PM.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day EPC project execution from pre-construction through commissioning.
• Review engineering drawings (one-lines, site plans, structural details) for constructability and coordinate RFIs and revisions.
• Assist with field coordination, QC documentation, issue resolution, inspections, and subcontractor oversight.
• Track procurement, long-lead items, equipment deliveries, and technical submittals.
• Coordinate utility interconnection steps, commissioning activities, and testing documentation.
• Maintain project schedules, logs, as-builts, and weekly progress reporting.
• Support management of electrical, civil, and mechanical subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in solar EPC, electrical contracting, or construction management.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and electrical one-lines.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, installation practices, and safety/NEC fundamentals.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and supporting field teams.
• Proficiency with tools such as Procore, Smartsheet, Monday, or similar.

Preferred:
Utility or large C&I solar experience; commissioning familiarity; OSHA/NABCEP certifications.
