Systems Administrator

Requirements
3-5+ years of Systems Administration experience installing new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements. Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Additional requirements include hands-on knowledge and experience with:

Installation and Administration of Dell and Cisco UCS servers

Operating systems - Linux and Windows Server environment, and VMWare

• Storage Area Network (Pure Storage)
• Backup Systems (NetBackup & Synology)
• Databases (Oracle, MySQL, SAP, HANA, etc)
• Installation and administration of Apache/Tomcat and IIS
• Configuring and maintaining firewalls, routers and switches
• Cisco networking equipment and VOIP phone systems
• Active Directory
• TCP/IP Networking, Network Protocols and Infrastructure (DHCP & DNS)
• Recommend and take part in the decision-making process of hardware and office automation software purchases based upon company needs
• Hire and direct services of third party network consultants and contractors as approved by management
