We're seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Hourly Shift Manager to oversee daily operations and lead our team in providing memorable experiences for our valued customers.

Position Overview

As the Hourly Shift Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our ice cream shop during your designated shifts. You will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and delivering outstanding service to every customer. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating a positive environment for both customers and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and motivate team members to uphold company standards and provide excellent customer service.
• Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling.
• Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and product knowledge.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the shop, including food preparation areas, serving counters, and dining areas.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with management to implement promotions, special events, and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in the food service industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• ServSafe Food Handler certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Passion for ice cream and dedication to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Ability to stand on one's feet for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
