Store Manager

Duties

• Lead and supervise all store operations, ensuring smooth daily functioning and adherence to company policies.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees, providing comprehensive training and ongoing development to foster a high-performing team.
• Manage employee schedules, assign tasks, and oversee shift management to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Implement effective merchandising strategies, including pricing, stocking, and visual displays to attract customers and boost sales.
• Oversee inventory management, including stock control, purchasing decisions, and inventory audits to minimize shrinkage and ensure product availability.
• Handle all aspects of sales management by setting targets, analyzing sales data, and developing action plans to meet or exceed goals.
• Maintain accurate financial records related to payroll, bookkeeping, cash handling, and store budgets.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining a welcoming store environment.
• Utilize POS systems for transactions, monitor cashiering activities, and ensure compliance with cash handling procedures.
• Coordinate marketing initiatives to promote store offerings and enhance community engagement.
• Enforce health and safety standards while supervising staff to create a secure shopping environment for customers and employees alike.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate training sessions focused on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service excellence.
• Book grooming and self wash appointments.

Requirements

• Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work culture.
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable for diverse customer engagement.
• Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management systems (POS), merchandising tools, and retail math calculations.
• Experience with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new staff members, and conducting employee orientation programs.
• Skilled in budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and financial record-keeping practices.
• Knowledge of retail sales techniques including pricing strategies and promotional campaigns.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining high standards of cashiering procedures.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to multitask effectively across various responsibilities such as stocking, merchandising, marketing initiatives, and administrative tasks.
• Strong problem-solving abilities coupled with excellent time management skills to prioritize daily operations efficiently.
• Previous assistant manager or shift supervisor experience is preferred but not mandatory; leadership qualities are essential.
• Familiarity with wireless sales or related product categories is a plus but not required. Pay: $40, $42,000.00 per year
