Life Care Planning Program Assistant – York, PA
Join our mission-driven team dedicated to enhancing the lives of older adults.

Bellomo & Associates is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented professional to join our Life Care Planning department as a Program Assistant. This vital role supports the Director of Life Care Planning and Client Care Advocates to ensure seamless support and coordination for our clients and their families.

We're looking for someone who is organized, collaborative, and passionate about advocating for the aging population. A strong understanding of elder law, healthcare or related fields is preferred, but above all, a commitment to service, empathy, and excellence is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Life Care Planning team, including intake processing, filing, data entry, and supply management to support daily operations.
  • Collaborate with Client Care Advocates and the Director to ensure continuity and quality of care.
  • Serve as an important point of contact for clients, families, and service providers for scheduling, inquiries, follow up, etc, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Research and maintain a comprehensive database of community resources and services relevant to aging adults.
  • Assist in creating and distributing educational materials related to Life Care Planning.
  • Coordinate Volunteer Enrichment Visits for clients, handling logistics and follow-up documentation.
  • Ensure confidentiality and ethical compliance in all aspects of client service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Strong commitment to the mission of the firm and dedication to serving older adults with compassion and respect.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative, fast-paced team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and empathy for working with clients and families during sensitive times.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Understanding of client confidentiality, especially in legal and healthcare contexts.
  • Adaptability to evolving client needs and departmental priorities.
  • Ability to provide anitipatory support by looking ahead and recognizing what is needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with cloud-based/web-based applications.

Employment Details:

  • In Office – 3198 E. Market St. York, PA 17402
  • 8:30-5pm Monday-Friday, with 1 hour lunch
  • Salary Range - $20-$22/hour
