Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Financial Controller located in Greater Chattanooga. The Financial Controller will oversee the preparation of financial statements, manage financial reporting, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities include conducting financial analysis, managing accounting functions, and overseeing financial strategy to support organizational goals. The position requires collaboration with internal teams to optimize financial processes.

Qualifications

• Expertise in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Strong Analytical Skills to interpret financial data and inform business decisions
• Comprehensive knowledge of Finance and experience in financial strategy and planning
• Proficiency in Financial Reporting and regulatory compliance
• Experience in Accounting, including general ledger management and reconciliations
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred
• Experience in the energy industry is a plus
