About the Role

Five Guys Latham is looking for a high-energy Shift Manager to support our General Manager. We are not a "sit in the office" kind of company. Our managers are on the floor, working the grill, dropping fries, and leading the crew by example. If you have experience in fast-casual dining and hold a NY ServSafe certification, we want to see you lead our team.

What You Will Do

• Hands-On Leadership: Jump in to support the team at every position: cashier, lobby, prep, grill, and fries.
• Drive Standards: Ensure the restaurant follows all company policies, safety guidelines, and profit goals.
• Shift Control: Manage opening and closing duties, ensuring the store is secure and clean.
• Team Development: Motivate the crew to perform at a high level and maintain a positive energy during the rush.
• Guest Satisfaction: Handle customer interactions to ensure everyone leaves happy.

Requirements

• Experience: 1+ year of management experience in a fast-casual restaurant.
• Certification: Must hold a NY Level 1 ServSafe Certification.
• Age: Must be 18 years or older.
• Physical: Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift 50+ pounds for up to 10 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Environment: Comfortable working with hot oil and in a noisy, high-energy kitchen.
• Skills: Ability to read/write English and use basic computer systems (POS).
