Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to recipes and menu specifications.
• Assist in the planning and execution of catering events as needed.
• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service and timely delivery of dishes.
• Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and kitchen protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.

Skills

• Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, including knife skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.
• Familiarity with dietary aide practices is a plus, ensuring meals meet various dietary restrictions when necessary.
• A passion for the food industry and commitment to creating exceptional dining experiences for guests.
