Duties
- Lead daily restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and customer service are met consistently.
- Supervise and motivate team members, providing clear direction, support, and training to foster a positive work environment.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining consistency and adherence to food safety regulations.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
- Assist in onboarding, and training new staff members to build a skilled and confident team.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure an outstanding dining experience.
- Support kitchen management by coordinating food production, managing shift schedules, and supervising food service operations.
- Contribute to budgeting efforts by controlling labor costs and managing operational expenses effectively.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants.
- Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience in hospitality or restaurant settings.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient cash handling and order processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to train staff effectively in food production, service techniques, and safety protocols.
- Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and food management practices within casual dining or fine dining environments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
