Quality Assurance Manager

The ideal candidate is a proactive, analytical thinker who strengthens the company's quality systems through internal audits, participation in process-improvement initiatives, and collaboration with key partners to gather and act on meaningful feedback.

Responsibilities

• Support the company's mission, vision, values, and goals in all daily activities.
• Contribute to the development of the department's strategic business plan and help define and track key metrics aligned with business objectives.
• Provide leadership and performance feedback to direct reports, including mentoring, coaching, counseling, and administering corrective action when necessary.
• Ensure product and process compliance with customer requirements and IATF 16949 standards.
• Develop standardized company and plant policies and procedures.
• Lead and guide department team members in alignment with plant business plan goals.
• Create and champion a progressive quality system focused on defect prevention, exceeding customer expectations, and achieving key quality certifications and awards (e.g., IATF 16949, Q1).
• Develop, implement, and maintain all quality policies, operating procedures, and work instructions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, or Business; ASQC certification or equivalent experience required. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years in Quality Engineering/Quality Assurance and at least 2 years of management experience.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools, practices, systems, and their practical integration.
• Exceptional procedure development and technical writing skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and teach effective problem-solving methods.
• Experience applying lean manufacturing concepts.
