Responsibilities
- Analyze and report on sales activities, trends, and performance, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and maximize sales effectiveness
- Develop, maintain, and monitor regional sales forecasts, including sales, volume, and distribution targets
- Track market share performance, pricing strategies, promotional effectiveness, and competitive activity
- Collect, analyze, and interpret category and competitive data in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to enhance market analysis
- Provide analytical support to identify gaps between actual results and targets, and recommend corrective actions
- Create, maintain, and enhance analytical tools to track sales trade spending by customer, territory, district, province, and region
- Prepare and deliver monthly sales reports and analysis to support Sales processes and meetings
- Provide ad hoc reporting, analytical support, and contribute to special projects as required
Systems, Data & Tools Support
- Provide technical support to the regional Sales team for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Business Intelligence (BI) systems
- Collaborate with relevant teams to implement system updates and changes, including account maintenance, link updates, and data integration with related systems (e.g., Oracle, Apex)
- Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy, and follow up with Sales teams to maintain up-to-date customer information
- Deliver system training and onboarding for Sales staff on new tools and functionality, and recommend enhancements to improve CRM and BI system effectiveness
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in sales analysis and reporting within a commercial environment
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational capabilities, with a proven ability to interpret large volumes of complex data and translate findings into actionable insights
- Solid understanding of mathematical and statistical principles
- Advanced computer proficiency, including strong working knowledge of MS Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Business Intelligence (BI), or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., Microsoft CRM, Endeca BI, Oracle) considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation capabilities
- Experience within the beverage alcohol industry considered an asset
- Ability to consistently demonstrate behaviors aligned with organizational values
Working Conditions
- Occasional travel may be required
- Hybrid work environment (2–3 days per week in office)
