Barber/Stylist

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional grooming services to our clients, ensuring they leave feeling confident and satisfied. You will be responsible for delivering a range of hair and beauty services while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Duties

• Perform haircuts, shaves, and styling using various techniques, including straight razor and hair threading.
• Provide hair extension services as requested by clients.
• Sanitate tools and workstations to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
• Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client management, and inventory tracking.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
• Maintain knowledge of current trends in barbering and hairstyling to offer clients the latest styles.
• Assist with nail care services as needed.
• Handle retail transactions accurately, applying basic retail math skills for product sales.
• Foster a positive customer service experience by effectively communicating with clients.

Qualifications

• Valid barbering or cosmetology license as required by state regulations.
• Proven experience in barbering or hairstyling is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices in the beauty industry.
• Ability to perform various hair techniques including straight razor cuts, hair threading, and extensions.
• A passion for the beauty industry and a commitment to continuous learning.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $1, $3,000.00 per week

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
