POSITION OVERVIEW: As a Business Development Manager at Galbraith Ground Management, you will identify and secure new client relationships, generate leads, develop sales strategies, and expand the company's market presence in the landscaping industry. 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Actively identify potential clients who could benefit from the company's services. 
  • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and aspirations. 
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve company growth targets. 
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to secure new business opportunities. 
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging markets to identify new opportunities. 
  • Attend industry events, participate in community outreach, and build relationships with potential clients and partners. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records of leads, clients, and sales activities. 
  • Track sales performance, analyze results, and provide reports to management. 
  • Work closely with the sales team, operations, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution. 
  • Utilize Pipedrive and Aspire software to create, track, and manage client estimates, contracts, and job scheduling.
  • Assist with other duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably within the residential landscaping industry. 
  • Strong understanding of landscaping principles, services, and industry practices. 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. 
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and cultivate strong relationships. 
  • Strong sales techniques and ability to identify and close deals. 
  • Ability to analyze situations, identify opportunities, and develop effective solutions. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records. 
  • Experience using CRM software and other relevant software for business development and sales. Aspire or similar landscaping software knowledge is highly desirable.
  • Preferably 5-7 years of business development experience
  • Bachelor's Degree is required

Pay Transparency

Position Range:

$75,000 - $85,000 plus commission
