Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
• Manage shift operations efficiently, coordinating food preparation, cooking, and serving activities to meet quality standards and customer expectations.
• Oversee food safety protocols and sanitation practices to guarantee compliance with health regulations and maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Control inventory levels through accurate stock management, ordering supplies as needed, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; oversee cash handling procedures and reconcile daily sales.
• Ensure smooth kitchen management by supervising food production processes, maintaining quality standards in food handling and presentation.
• Implement staff training programs focused on food preparation techniques, customer service excellence, and operational procedures to foster continuous improvement.
• Monitor restaurant performance metrics; analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and enhancement of the dining experience.
• Coordinate catering, banquet events, or bar services when applicable, ensuring seamless execution from setup to cleanup.
• Lead by example in hospitality management practices that promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment.

Experience

• Proven management experience within the food industry, ideally in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments.
• Extensive background in food service management with strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience with a focus on team management, staff training & development, and interviewing new team members.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficient in cash handling and transaction reconciliation.
• Experience overseeing inventory control processes including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations; previous roles involving food handling and hygiene compliance are highly valued.
• Exposure to fine dining or hotel restaurant environments is a plus; experience managing catering or banquet services is advantageous.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams in high-pressure situations; excellent communication skills are essential for effective supervision and customer interaction.
