divh2Mid-level Software Architect/h2pWe are seeking a mid-level software architect to assist in the design and development of software solutions for complex applications problems, API design, data services, platform services, cloud services, and infrastructure services to meet user requirements and align to strategic goals and the Enterprise Architecture. The mid-level software architect understands/performs software development and assists with making high-level design choices./ppDuties may include:/pulliDesigns, develops, maintains, and documents software solution architectures ensuring traceability to the Enterprise architecture and Enterprise requirements./liliConducts the analysis of user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing software systems./liliDevelops proposed changes to the software solutions architecture design based on analysis of requirements and new technology./liliCreates prototypes to evaluate new technologies./li/ulpEducation and experience required:/pulli6 - 12 years of experience/liliBachelors degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Engineering, Engineering Management, Information Technology, Mathematics, System Engineering, or a related STEM Degree Program -OR- six years of experience as a Software Architect in lieu of a degree./liliA minimum of six years of experience working software design and architecture in government or industry./liliExperience in one of the following areas: cloud computing, service orientation, containerization, micro-services, API development or DevSecOps./liliExperience building and delivering working products to customers in a modern, cloud-based software environment./li/ulpDesired:/pulliWorking knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and languages./liliPrevious NGA and/or NSG/ASG program/project work experience./liliPrevious IC or DoD program/project work experience./lipSecurity clearance:/pulliActive TS/SCI Clearance and the willingness to sit for a CI polygraph, if needed/li/ulpIC-CAP provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status./p/ul/div
