Job Summary:
Our fast-paced Sacramento, California logistics facility is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator. This role is vital for maintaining the smooth flow of goods within our distribution center, ensuring efficient receiving, put-away, and shipping processes. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, highly reliable, and possess strong operational skills. As a Forklift Operator, you will be entrusted with moving significant volumes of inventory accurately and securely. We prioritize a safe working environment and expect all team members to uphold our high standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts (including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks) to move, stack, and organize inventory.
  • Safely load and unload trailers and containers.
  • Transport materials between different areas of the warehouse, ensuring accuracy.
  • Conduct pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any defects immediately.
  • Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock verification.
  • Follow all established Safety guidelines and warehouse protocols.
  • Wear and maintain all required PPE consistently.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize workflow and logistics.
  • Must be able to perform tasks involving lifting and physical activity when required.

Qualifications:
  • Certified Forklift Operator with demonstrable experience.
  • Proficiency in operating multiple types of forklifts.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong commitment to workplace Safety and the correct use of PPE.
  • Ability to work independently and meet performance targets.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
