This position is integral to our warehouse functions, encompassing the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of goods. The Warehouse Associate will be involved in a variety of tasks including receiving shipments, stocking inventory, picking and packing orders accurately, and preparing them for transit. Safety is paramount, and adherence to all company safety regulations, including the diligent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This role demands physical capability, requiring consistent lifting, standing, and moving throughout the shift. You will work as part of a dedicated team, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our logistics network. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Pack orders securely and prepare them for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks and other vehicles safely.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment.
- Perform regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.
- Follow all established safety procedures and use required PPE correctly.
- Identify and report any damaged goods or workplace hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent physical tasks, including lifting up to 45 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse operations, safety protocols, and PPE requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when necessary.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to safety.
