We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Cincinnati, Ohio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is crucial to our warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods. You will be responsible for performing pre-operational checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working order and reporting any issues promptly. Adherence to all safety protocols and guidelines is paramount. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, moving materials between different areas of the warehouse, and assisting with inventory management. Experience with various types of forklifts is a plus, and a valid forklift certification is required. We emphasize a strong commitment to workplace Safety , including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as steel-toed boots and safety vests. The ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including regular Lifting of up to 50 pounds, is essential. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Familiarity with warehouse Logistics and inventory systems.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE .
