Join our vibrant team as a Warehouse Worker in the heart of New York City, New York! We are seeking dedicated individuals to support our busy warehouse operations. In this role, you will be involved in a variety of tasks essential to the smooth running of our facility, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. This position requires a proactive attitude, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to maintaining a secure and efficient work environment. You will be working as part of a collaborative team, contributing to our overall success in the fast-paced logistics sector. Adherence to all company safety regulations and the correct use of PPE are paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
- Perform inventory counts and assist with stocktaking.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare and load goods onto delivery vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse, including work areas and aisles.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery safely (if trained and certified).
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Handle materials and products with care to avoid damage and ensure quality.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven work experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and basic logistics .
- Ability to handle physical workload, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, and standing for long periods.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Team player with good communication abilities.
- Understanding of proper PPE usage and commitment to workplace safety .
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
