Seeking a diligent Material Handler for our San Francisco, California facility. This role is critical for managing the flow of goods within our logistics operations. You will be involved in receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping materials, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience with various warehouse equipment and a strong commitment to safety. Your contribution will directly impact our ability to serve our customers effectively through seamless logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the movement of goods within the warehouse, including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Accurately track inventory and assist with stocktaking.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all established procedures.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by safety regulations.
- Report any issues with equipment, inventory, or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support overall logistics operations and assist team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Material Handler or warehouse role preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment operation.
- Knowledge of safety procedures in a logistics environment.
- Capable of regular Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
