This role requires working within our comprehensive logistics framework, ensuring that every order is picked correctly and prepared for the next stage of shipment. Safety is paramount in our warehouse, and all employees must strictly follow safety procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety vests, gloves, and safety shoes. The job involves significant physical activity, including extensive standing, walking, bending, reaching, and the consistent ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order tickets or digital scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Use warehouse equipment and technology (e.g., RF scanners) to track inventory and fulfill orders.
- Handle products with care to prevent damage.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or product damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Meet daily picking quotas and quality standards.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret order slips and item labels.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and wear PPE.
- Basic math skills for inventory checks.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
