Key responsibilities include accurately picking items from shelves, carefully packing them for transit, and preparing shipments for dispatch. This job involves constant movement, requiring physical stamina for extended periods of standing, walking, and moderate Lifting. A strong emphasis is placed on workplace safety, and all associates are required to follow strict guidelines, including the use of necessary personal protective equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label and prepare packages for shipment.
- Operate shipping software and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and use required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock organization.
- Meet or exceed daily productivity and accuracy goals.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient order processing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a fulfillment, warehouse, or order picking role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and Lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
