Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate Holography Researcher/Scientist to advance holographic technology for our AI coffee machine project at BalanX Bio. The ideal candidate is driven by scientific discovery, has a strong research background, and thrives in a collaborative environment. You will lead R&D efforts to develop innovative holographic displays, enhancing the user experience of our coffee machines.

Responsibilities

  • Research and develop novel holographic techniques for interactive displays.

  • Explore volumetric and 3D holographic solutions for real-time user interaction.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate research into coffee machine interfaces.

  • Publish findings and present at industry conferences to advance holography.

  • Troubleshoot technical challenges in holographic display development.

  • Stay updated on holography trends and emerging technologies.

  • Document research processes and provide insights to cross-functional teams.

  • Ensure research aligns with project goals for consumer-facing visualizations.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a PhD/BS/MS in Physics, Optics, or related field

  • Experience in holography, 3D imaging, or optical physics research.

  • Proficiency in simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python) for optical modeling.

  • Strong understanding of holographic principles and light manipulation.

  • Familiarity with consumer product applications is a plus.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

  • Strong communication skills to share findings with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with volumetric displays or holographic data storage.

  • Knowledge of AI-driven visualization or AR/VR systems.

  • Research in holography or related fields.

  • Portfolio showcasing holographic research or projects.
